Sage-Functional consultant

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and understand their business requirements in order to provide appropriate Sage ERP solutions.
• Design and configure Sage modules to meet client's specific needs.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the successful implementation of Sage ERP software.
• Train end-users on the functionalities of Sage modules and provide ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sage ERP functionality and integration.
• Stay updated with the latest Sage ERP functionalities and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and gathering customer requirements.
• Support development team on mapping customer requirements to Sage X3 fields

Required Skills:

• Solid experience in implementing and supporting Sage ERP solutions.
• Strong functional knowledge in Sage modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, and Purchase.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Sage modules to meet client's requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans to ensure successful implementation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to Sage ERP functionality and integration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to train end-users on the functionalities of Sage modules and provide ongoing support.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Sage ERP functionalities and industry best practices.
• Experience in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations and gathering customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Sage ERP solutions.
• Sage certification or relevant professional certifications in ERP systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
