Role Description

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Cloud AI Architect to join our pre-sales team, specializing in designing and delivering advanced AI solutions on cloud platforms. This hands-on role focuses on driving opportunity conversion and establishing thought leadership in the AI domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to architect cutting-edge AI solutions that align with business goals. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, deal velocity, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Solutioning: Collaborate with sales teams to identify client needs, design AI-driven solutions, and prepare compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Hands-On Prototyping: Build proof-of-concept (POC) AI models and applications to demonstrate solution feasibility and value.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish credibility as an AI thought leader through webinars, whitepapers, blogs, and conference presentations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business challenges into technical solutions and aligning these with cloud AI capabilities.
  • KPI Ownership: Track and achieve KPIs such as opportunity conversion, time-to-close, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to shape solution offerings and refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging AI technologies to inform solution design.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of pre-sales cycles, deal qualification frameworks, and customer-centric solutioning.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Thinking: Capable of quickly analyzing business challenges and designing scalable AI solutions.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence internal teams and clients as a thought leader and technical expert.

Mandatory Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML solutioning, including at least 3 years in a pre-sales or consulting role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering AI solutions on leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on expertise in building machine learning models, deploying AI services, and integrating these into business workflows.
  • Demonstrated success in owning and achieving KPIs tied to sales performance.
  • Strong background in developing POCs and conducting technical workshops for enterprise clients.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Azure AI Engineer).
  • Experience with industry-specific AI applications (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for operationalizing AI solutions.
  • Experience working with international clients and multi-regional sales teams.
