Designation: Business Solutions Manager - ASEAN
 
Role Description
 
Business Solutions Manager (BSM) takes up the dual roles of Presales (Technical Solutions & Services) and Sales (Revenue Generation). BSM combines business acumen, project management skills, and technology expertise to understand, shape, propose and help deliver solutions that align with company goals and clients’ requirements. BSM shall lead the techno-commercial proposal development, deal closure and oversee delivery of cloud-based solutions particularly in Digital Transformation, AI/GenAI, Data Analytics, and SaaS platforms.
BSM is responsible for:
·        Presales: oversee variety of client projects, guiding clients as a trusted advisor, and driving the growth of our practice. Identify, design, propose, implement, and managing solutions to address specific challenges or opportunities for the clients. Architect and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS, AI, Gen AI, and Data Analytics to meet client needs and drive business value.
·        Sales: own the allocated Sales and Revenue initiatives towards achievement of Business Targets. Drive Client acquisition and nurture relationships with clients. Ccollaborate with client, partners and internal teams to define and present solutions, respond to RFPs, and drive new business opportunities.
·        Client Engagement: As the main point of contact for clients act as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business challenges and providing strategic guidance to achieve their goals using cloud and AI technologies. In a delivery mode, collaborate with the Engagement Manager and Project Manager along with Delivery Team members to oversee seamless execution of projects in offshore delivery model.

Requirements:
  • Local: Must be able to converse and write in Bahasa Melayu and English. Preference would be Malaysian based in or near Kuala Lumpur. Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience, with a strong background in Cloud competencies particularly Migration, AI, Gen AI, data analytics, and SaaS platforms inclusive but not limited to Cloud Marketplaces.
  • Managing: Proven experience in collaboration with Clients, Partners and Diverse teams for leading engagements and managing complex projects, including offshore delivery models.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, AI/Gen AI technologies, and Data Management solutions.
  • Client Focus: Exceptional ability to engage with clients as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Sales & Presales: Experience in owning sales and presales activities, with a track record of successful solution delivery and business growth.
  • Offshore Management: Experience in managing offshore teams and coordinating with global stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Non-technical degree holders can be considered given the right mapping to the role at hand with experience supporting it.
