Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in both Azure and AWS platforms. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions that meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, security, and deployment methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager templates to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration management.
Cloud Migration: Lead and execute cloud migration projects, including assessing existing on-premises infrastructure, planning migration strategies, and executing migrations to Azure and AWS.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards across Azure and AWS environments, including network security, identity and access management, and data encryption.
Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance issues, optimize resource utilization, and ensure high availability of cloud services.
DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and enable continuous integration and delivery.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational runbooks. Provide training and guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders.
Troubleshooting and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for Azure and AWS cloud services, providing troubleshooting support and resolution of complex technical issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 + years of experience in cloud engineering roles, with a focus on Azure and AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Experience with cloud migration methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and optimization of cloud resources.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
